If you are a lover of arts and culture, you’re in the right place. In Košice, you can find everything - starting with classical arts, opera and theatre, and ending with contemporary dance, media art or the largest mural gallery in Slovakia. Therefore, it’s not a coincidence that in 2013 Košice was the European Capital of Culture.

Do you know where the favourite wines of Louis XIV., Beethoven, Goethe or Bram Stoker were made? In the south of eastern Slovakia and Hungary! Yes, we have the famous Tokaj wine region in mind. Taste the wines directly in Košice or take a short trip to the nearby Tokaj wine cellars.
