We invite you to the opening of the exhibition Dávid Demjanovič and Jarmila Mitríková: Elixir, which will take place on February 13, 2025 at 6:00 PM at the East Slovak Gallery at Alžbetina 22.

Dávid Demjanovič and Jarmila Mitríková are known to the Košice audience, but they have not yet been introduced to the full breadth of their work. The exhibition will show not only a large number of their joint works created using the pyrography or ceramic technique, but also joint or individual experiments, working sketches and clippings that form the basis of their collaboration and individual research. The more extensive selection of works combines older works with the very latest and shows the trajectories of the genesis of recurring motifs and symbols in different variations and contexts. This cocktail brings at times an almost hallucinatory experience - playful and humorous but also critical and horror at the same time. By mixing All of these ingredients create an elixir with a liberating effect and the ability to transport the viewer wherever they dare to go.
